The real estate agent is probably the most important person in the transaction as they find the person to buy your property, at the price you are happy with.

Firstly, you need to contact us so that we can prepare a contract and get it to your agent as soon as possible. Once a buyer has been found, we get you to come in and we go through the contract with you to make sure the contract accurately reflects exactly what you are selling.
      
In the meantime a potential buyer may arrange for pest and building inspections of the property. When everything is organised we exchange contracts, swapping the one signed by you for the one signed by the purchaser. Settlement is usually 42 days after exchange and this is when the balance of the purchase money is paid and you, having moved out, hand over the keys.
